To have a sense of balance and harmony in your life, it is highly recommended that you have a balance within the 24 hours of your day. To do this is to spend 8 hours per day in Business, 8 hour a day in your Personal and 8 hours a day in your Social.
Sounds easy doesn’t it. It is surprising how many people continually mix their Business with their Social and their Personal with their business or with their Social or spend too much time in one and not enough time in the other resulting in high level of stress, anxiety, depression, exhaustion or burnout.
To be clear
Business = What you do to earn an income. Remember you work to live, not live to work.
Personal = The time you spend for you. Sleeping, Relaxing, Meditating, Thinking
Social = When you are sharing/enjoying life with others outside of your Personal and Business areas. Time with your partner, family, friends or in society.
Bringing your social and personal lives into your business can be a recipe for disaster. Bringing your Business into your Social or Personal Lives can bring all sorts of physical, mental and emotional stress and strain into your life. Not allowing yourself Personal time in your daily life can throw everything out of alignment.
Take a moment and ask yourself the following questions –
How much time do you spend working?
How much time do you spend on your personal self-care e.g. sleeping, meditating, relaxing, having time out?
How much time do you spend in the company of others socially?
How often do you feel pressured for time?
In what area of your life do you feel this pressure?
What do you think you can do to change things that are not working for you?
Are you prepared to make the changes you have discovered to bring enjoyment and fulfillment into your life?
